The Danny Jaromir Initiative is a project started by the mind of the young entrepreneur; D.J. Della Rocca. D.J. has always had a passion for helping others whether it was through his schooling, hockey or his charity ventures. He is always looking to lend a hand to those in need. Before he was born D.J.’s grandfathers both passed away at young ages and were never able to meet any of their grandchildren. D.J. is so honoured to still have both his grandmothers present in his life empowering him on his journey. A cool little tidbit about D.J. is that the initials in his name come from the first name of his two grandfathers. Danny Della Rocca, for the initial D and J, represents his other grandfather Jaromir R. Thus the name of his initiative; is the Danny Jaromir Initiative. D.J. wants to create a legacy where both his grandfathers and his family can be beacons of light in the world for those who need help. The Danny Jaromir Initiative is targeted toward helping different demographics in society that are struggling and need that extra push to be right on their way up.
The Danny Jaromir initiative is aimed at helping out those in need. In the past, we’ve been able to host fundraisers in support of the SickKids Foundation. As we continue our work with SickKids we are also looking to aid other causes in need such as the Canadian Food Bank. We are actively looking at different ways to help new and exciting causes/projects in our local communities.
