About Keanan Allin Boston Fund

Keanan was 21 months old when we kissed and tucked him in for the very last time at SickKids Hospital. In his short life he was the happiest child who could light up a room with his smile, loved to play anywhere and with anyone, read and laugh and whisper secrets. He gave the best hugs and we miss him so much it hurts. Everyday.

We have created this page in his honour to celebrate his life and his ultimate life saving gifts. Through the Trillium Gift of Life Network, Keanan is living on in a young boy (liver), young girl (his boom boom) and an adult male (kidney). This page and our fundraising efforts are also dedicated to the incredible staff who cried with us and continue to support us to this day.

We continue to love Keanan and remember Keanan and dedicate everything we do to Keanan. Our baby Keanan will always be our very Special K. Thank you for your support and friendship!!

This page and our fundraising efforts are in honour of our son and to continue the values we taught him...to help others.

Keanan's Family Walk 2024 - Support the SickKids Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Centre!

This year, we are supporting The SickKids Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Centre! The  TRMC is Canada's most research-intensive paediatric transplant program and the largest centre dedicated to comprehensive transplant care in the country.
Your donation can do a lot. You'll be contributing to:
 - Comfort items and patient room improvements so transplant patients and families feel safe and at-home during their often lengthy in-person stays.
- Equipment to help the medical team successfully perform over 70 transplants per year.
- The ongoing needs of their transplant programs like the Kidney Transplant Program, which has performed over 1,000 kidney transplants since it was founded in 1969, and the highly specialized GIFT program, the first formal multidisciplinary team in Canada dedicated to the treatment and research of intestinal failure in children.
Help us honour Keanan by supporting this important area of the hospital.
