The Macao Club Bike team was formed in 2019 in support of the SickKids Foundation in delivering healthcare for patients and their families.
In 2023, the team completed a riding journey of over 600 km from Kitchener to Markham in 4 days from September 29 to October 2nd, and raised over $22,000 for SickKids.
This year, the team will explore the Greenbelt - the heart of the Greater Golden Horseshoe in Southern Ontario. We will ride approximately 450km for around 4 days from September 26 - 29 to continuously raise fund for SickKids!
We request your endorsement as we embark on this event through your contributions and donations. In this way, we can all make a difference in advancing health care services for all in need today and for the future.
All of the donation will be allocated to the Macao Club (Toronto) Inc. Endowment Fund in support of SickKids Foundation's Campaign Fund to meet the highest priorities:
1. Re-Imagine SickKids Campus
2. Continue Breakthrough Research
3. Partner For Better Care
By donating to SickKids, you're helping all kids around the world to get the care they deserve.
Please join us in this endeavor and together we can make a difference!
Ontario's Greenbelt is a protected area of green space, farmland, forests, wetlands, and watersheds, located in Southern Ontario, Canada. It surrounds a significant portion of the Golden Horseshoe.
The Greenbelt is the heart of the Greater Golden Horseshoe - its permanent protection is essential for climate resilient communities and a thriving local economy.
Our biking route is over 400km and in 4 days this year.
Day 1: Cobourg ~ Stouffville (115km)
Day 2: Stouffville ~ Georgetown (110km)
Day 3: Georgetown ~ Burlington (85km)
Day 4: Burlington ~ Brock University (100km)
The fundraising event extends with a new challenge taken by 4 riders in the team: Samuel, Felix, Stanley and Alex!
From Oct. 17-19, four of them will set to complete one more ride from Toronto to Montreal, 600km in 3 days, a great bonus adding to this year's fundraising!
