Mom Halo

Myself, Justin and Chulainn have joined Project Halo to help build a new SickKids - designed to​ better serve patients and families. 

We have watched the building go up from the day of admission back in March. Every morning we would grab a cup of tea at Tim’s and take up a bench by the windows to watch the crane flying in forms for the next floor, and the next floor, and the next. This was our bit of peace for the day. Having a place to feel calm, take a breath and break free from the “new normal” was just what we needed before facing into another day. 

Creating spaces where parents can get rest and step away from the noise of it ALL is what #projectmomhalo is all about, and we hope you can help us support other parents and families through the hard things.
