What started as a small idea after a few bottles of wine amongst friends, introducing the biggest and baddest summer party of the year - an epic event all in support of BMT_VS_100DAYS.
BMT_VS_100DAYS focuses on trying to improve the environment for bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients at SickKids Hospital. After every bone marrow transplant, patients are kept in rooms under observation for a period of 100 days. These 100 days are the most crucial days of their lives. They determine whether their transplant actually worked or not, and also allows doctors to catch complications in the transplant quickly. Improving these post op recovery conditions for the children is critical to their long term survival and to the success of the harrowing BMT surgeries.
