Children’s health is top of mind, now more than ever. The actions we take today will have an impact on future generations for years to come. And the decisions that we make locally can have a ripple effect of positive change globally. That’s why we’re focusing on our tradition of SickKids giving this September, by fundraising to ensure the future of children’s health all over the world.
Klick has been a proud supporter of the SickKids Foundation since 2012, raising $379,692.47 over the past 9 years through Klick It Forward and our annual Klick Cares for SickKids campaign each September.
Over the years, we’ve heard powerful stories from patient advocates and Klicksters alike about how important access to world class children’s hospitals has been to them. And in 2018 we committed to leaving our mark on SickKids campus, by pledging to donate $250,000 over the next five years. This will not only fuel SickKids’ global efforts (over 1,800 patients from around the world are treated there each year) but will also result in having a treatment room for young patients who have undergone neurosurgery named after Klick to commemorate our culture of kindness.
We share in the belief that fighting for the health and well-being of children is one of the most powerful ways to improve society. Right now, exponential advancements in scientific knowledge and technology – made possible by donors like us at Klick – present an unparralled opportunity for SickKids.
